Rheumatology Outreach Program

Community-based physicians provide an invaluable service to their patients. Frequently, however, the care of the patient with complex rheumatologic problems can be enhanced through collaboration between community physicians and a tertiary referral center. The Mayo Rheumatology Outreach Program provides access to such a service.

Advancements in technology and a spirit of commitment allow Mayo to offer support to community physicians in caring for their patients with rheumatic problems. When necessary, physicians can refer their patients to Mayo Clinic for complex treatment and care unavailable locally. Mayo Clinic staff are committed to providing all patients with quality healthcare.
