Chaplain Services

Mayo Clinic and its hospitals — Saint Marys Hospital and Rochester Methodist Hospital — offer the services of a chaplain for patients and visitors. Chaplains are available:

• To listen and offer spiritual and emotional support
• To accompany those in crisis or grief
• To share prayer and sacraments and to lead worship
• To reflect and consult on ethical concerns and decisions

Chaplains are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To arrange a visit, call Chaplain Services, (507) 266-7275 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you are a patient or visitor at Rochester Methodist Hospital or Saint Marys Hospital, you may ask your nurse to page the on-call chaplain at any time.

Chaplain Services offices are located at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Eisenberg Building, second floor, room 2-130, and at Saint Marys Hospital, Joseph Building, main floor, room M-61.

Mayo's staff chaplains are representative of the specific religious denominations listed below. Every effort will be made to contact local or regional representatives of other denominations not represented to meet the needs of patients and visitors.
