Radiology in Arizona

Thoracic Imaging

Clinical Practice
The section of Thoracic Imaging interprets plain radiographs and CT images of the chest, including high-resolution chest CT's. We are particularly interested in the evaluation of the solitary pulmonary nodule, lung cancer, pulmonary metastases, airway diseases, and interstitial lung diseases.

To evaluate occupational lung diseases, we also provide B-readings of chest x-rays.

Education
We participate in education of radiology residents from Rochester, radiology fellows in Arizona, as well as Mayo Clinic residents and fellows in Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Family Practice in Arizona. Our section members also take part in Mayo Clinic-sponsored and national society-sponsored CME presentations.
