Radiology in Arizona

Overview

As a medical specialty, Radiology has grown into an essential diagnostic tool with recent developments in imaging technology. High resolution anatomic and functional images allow radiology physicians (Radiologists) to detect tumors smaller than a centimeter in size, visualize tiny cartilage tears in joints, and track down infectious diseases in their earliest stages. With advances in interventional radiology techniques, Radiologists can now treat aneurysms with minimally invasive stents, or deliver chemotherapy drugs to tumors with pinpoint accuracy.

The Department of Radiology provides a complete range of imaging services for outpatients and inpatients. Using state-of-the-art equipment, we focus on performing high quality imaging tests and image-guided treatments in a safe environment. We have a cohesive group of Radiologists who have all undergone extra fellowship training to become subspecialists in their chosen fields.
