Radiology in Minnesota

Research

The Department of Radiology has more than 60 basic and clinical investigators who participate in research that spans the spectrum of biotechnology — from the development of emerging imaging technologies to image-guided procedures, and from genomics research to animal studies to clinical trials.

Radiology investigators collaborate closely with clinical departments throughout Mayo to improve current methods of diagnosis by developing novel imaging technologies.

The broad scope and translational nature of our research projects has resulted in many of our investigators receiving significant federal and industry funding.
