Consultative services include:

Psychiatry

  • General psychiatric consultation (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Evaluation of adjustment disorders and of need for psychotherapy
  • Evaluation of refractory mood and anxiety disorders
  • Sleep disorder consultation (outpatient) for insomnia, narcolepsy and parasomnias
  • Evaluation of physicians and other health professionals, usually at the request of licensing agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Psychiatric assessment of clergy, seminarians and seminary candidates, usually at the request of diocesan authorities

  • Biofeedback and relaxation training
  • Psychological and neuropsychological testing
  • Psychotherapy of affective and mood disorders
  • Evaluation and treatment of panic disorder
  • Behavioral counseling of childhood disorders
