The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation provides inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to a sports medicine clinic, the department offers rehabilitation services for:

• Chronic lower back pain
• Neck pain
• Chronic pain syndrome
• Abnormal gait
• Fibromyalgia
• Myofascial pain syndrome
• Tension myalgias
• Rehabilitation of various nervous system conditions, including:
• Multiple sclerosis
• Cerebral vascular accidents
• Spinal cord pathology

The department's physiatrists also offer evaluation and rehabilitation management for the following conditions and disorders:

• Musculoskeletal and connective tissue problems
• Central nervous system disorders
• Peripheral nervous system problems
• Post-traumatic conditions, including spinal cord injury, brain injury and fractures
• Post-surgical rehabilitation for amputations, joint replacement, etc.
• Cerebral vascular, lymphedema and other circulatory disorders
• Neurogenic bladder and bowel conditions
• Cancer rehabilitation
