Hospitals
Two hospitals — Rochester Methodist Hospital (794 beds) and Saint Marys Hospital (1,157 beds) — are part of Mayo Clinic in Rochester. In the hospital environment, pharmacists work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team, including physicians, nurses, other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Pharmacists' responsibilities include drug distribution, drug therapy monitoring, investigational drug accountability, education, and supervisory functions.

Outpatient
Mayo Clinic in Rochester has a very large outpatient practice – more than 1.4 million visits annually – with care provided in virtually every specialty. Florida – At Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, you will provide pharmaceutical care via an integrated practice model. Practice settings include decentralized inpatient, community pharmacy, institutional ambulatory pharmacy (emphasis on oncology), and collaborative patient consult services (medication therapy management). Responsibilities include direct patient care; education of pharmacy, medical, and nursing personnel; provision of PGY1 and PGY2 residency training; and participation in research opportunities. Arizona – Three outpatient pharmacies provide services to outpatients and staff of Mayo Clinic in Arizona as well as patients discharged from Mayo Clinic Hospital.
