Nerve tumors occur in children and adolescents, though not commonly. Learn more about types of nerve tumors. Mayo Clinic's pediatric specialists are experienced in treating these tumors with the treatment options described in these pages.

Treatment Team

Nerve tumors vary significantly by location, severity and their effect on the body. Mayo Clinic medical teams are customized for each patient based on those criteria.

Specialists from the Departments of Pediatric Neurology, Neurosurgery, Medical Genetics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation work together to determine the most appropriate treatment for each patient.
