Osteoarthritis

Taking Charge of Your Osteoarthritis is a computer-based presentation available at Mayo E10 and E15 lobbies. The program uses videos, illustrations, animation and personal stories to help you learn to manage your arthritis. You can progress through the program at your own pace by touching the computer screen. After completing this program, you should have answers to the following questions:

  • What is happening to my joints?
  • Will my life change?
  • What can be done to help me?

You may spend as long as you like working with this program. If you wish additional materials, you also can ask for them at the Patient Education Center, Siebens Subway.

"Taking Charge of Your Osteoarthritis" is available during regular clinic hours. You do not need to schedule an appointment.
