How to Measure Your Blood Pressure

How to Measure Your Blood Pressure is a 45-minute class offered in the Patient Education Center. After completing this class, you should be able to do the following:

  • Define blood pressure.
  • Demonstrate the proper use of blood pressure equipment and measure your own blood pressure.
  • Identify when to call a health care provider for further help.

This is a single session class. This program includes classroom instruction and discussion and an opportunity to ask questions. You will receive a packet containing a summary of class content and other related materials for future reference.

Register by calling 507-284-8140 or by making an appointment at the Patient Education Center reception desk. Programs are offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and can be scheduled to fit with your other clinic appointments.
