Care of Your Back

Care of Your Back is a 60-minute class offered in the Patient Education Center. After completing this class, you should be able to:

• Describe the normal structure and function of the back
• Develop a plan to protect the back from stress and injury
• State first-aid measures to alleviate back pain and know when to call a health care provider

This class includes instruction, a video presentation, discussion and an opportunity to ask questions. You'll receive a packet containing a summary of class content and related materials for future reference.
