Ongoing programs

  • Humanities in Medicine: Integrating the arts and humanities into the healing environment. A series of programs that engage professional artists and musicians directly with patients and their families to explore the transformative, healing power of the arts. For information about scheduling and availability, contact the Center for Humanities in Medicine at 904-953-2058.
  • Music: Professional musicians perform daily concerts in patient and family lounges on clinic and hospital units.
  • Visual Art: Artists work one-on-one at the bedside with hospitalized patients and their families, exploring creative expression through a variety of media such as watercolors, colored pencils, collage and pen and ink.
  • First Tuesday Concert Series: Concerts are performed the first Tuesday of every month from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Kinne Auditorium. Free and open to patients and their family members.
  • Robert D. and Isabelle T. Davis Gallery: "Still in Wild Water: 150 Years of Healing" through February 27, 2015. "Squash Blossoms: Paintings by Susan Ober" opens March 9, 2015.
