Cancer Education Program Services
The Cancer Education Center is free to patients, their families, and the public. They can find reliable, relevant, and current information about all aspects of cancer care. The Cancer Education Center is located in the lobby of the Gonda Building on the street level and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Some cancer information is also available in patient care areas on the 10th floor of the Gonda Building and at Desk R on the Subway level of the Charlton Building.
Mayo Clinic Cancer Center Public Inquiries
The Cancer Education Program (CEP) serves as a triage point for more than 1,500 cancer-related phone calls and emails a year from the public. The questions received range from general cancer inquiries to requests for specific information about the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center. Some inquiries are answered by CEP nurse educators, while others are directed to specific departments within Mayo Clinic.
Other Resources for Cancer Information
General cancer information can also be found at MayoClinic.org, the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute.
Information about clinical trials can be accessed at Clinical Trials at Mayo Clinic, ClinicalTrials.gov and TrialCheck.
