Staff members in the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Mayo Clinic in Arizona have experience evaluating and treating Parkinson's disease, movement disorders and other neurological conditions.

Many nonmovement symptoms in people with movement disorders also may be addressed, including sleep disorders, emotional problems, depression, cognitive disorders, lightheadedness and urinary difficulties.

Treatment options offered for movement disorders include:

• Oral medications
• All botulinum toxins, including onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox), abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport), incobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin) and botulinum toxin type B (RimabotulinumtoxinB) injections, to treat dystonia and other movement disorders such as tremor
• Deep brain stimulation to control symptoms of some movement disorders
• Physical and occupational therapy to strengthen muscles
