Overview

The Department of Pain Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida works closely with Physical Medicine, Psychology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery to bring a multidisciplinary team approach to diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain problems.

Services include diagnostic evaluation, second opinions and treatment. Available treatments include physical therapy; injections and nerve blocks; biofeedback; medical management; and implantable, intraspinal, pain-relieving devices. A physician referral is usually required.
