Symptoms
Symptoms of oral tongue cancer include:
- A persistent sore or ulcer on the tongue
- Ongoing pain in the mouth
- Lumps or white patches on the tongue
- Difficulty moving the jaw
- Swelling or pain in the jaw
- Pain around the teeth, or loosening of the teeth
- Numbness in the mouth
- Severe pain in one ear
- Lumps in the neck
- Dentures that no longer fit
- Difficulty speaking
- Difficulty chewing and swallowing
