Oral Tongue Cancer

Symptoms

Symptoms of oral tongue cancer include:

  • A persistent sore or ulcer on the tongue
  • Ongoing pain in the mouth
  • Lumps or white patches on the tongue
  • Difficulty moving the jaw
  • Swelling or pain in the jaw
  • Pain around the teeth, or loosening of the teeth
  • Numbness in the mouth
  • Severe pain in one ear
  • Lumps in the neck
  • Dentures that no longer fit
  • Difficulty speaking
  • Difficulty chewing and swallowing
