Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Overview

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a specialty available only at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Maxillofacial surgeons diagnose and treat congenital and acquired diseases and deformities of the face, mouth, teeth, jaws and neck. Patients of all ages are treated. Pathologic, functional, and cosmetic surgical procedures are available for patients. The surgeons in this group work closely with colleagues in both medicine and dentistry.
