Inpatients

  Direct line to Ophthalmology appointment secretaries who will connect the referring physician with the ophthalmologist on-call to arrange hospital transfer.
  
  
• Mayo Clinic Operator

  During working hours, the operator can contact the ophthalmologist on-call or any other specialty that the referring physician needs. In emergency situations during off-hours, the clinic operator will assist in dealing with the situation.
  
  

Urgent/emergency transportation
24 hours day/7 days a week

• Call the Mayo Emergency Communications Center at 800-237-6822 to request Gold Cross (ground ambulance), Mayo One (helicopter ambulance), or Mayo MedAir (fixed-wing air ambulance).
