Ophthalmology in Florida

Overview

Ophthalmologists at Mayo Clinic in Florida are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art eye care. We have physicians with fellowship training in all ophthalmic subspecialties. They treat a wide array of eye problems, such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal and ocular surface disease, cancer of the eye, diseases of the eyelids and orbit, vitreoretinal diseases and neuro-ophthalmological disorders.

We also offer state-of-the-art vision correction surgery and cosmetic eye surgery.

If an eye problem is related to other systemic conditions, such as diabetes, autoimmune or thyroid disease, the Mayo Clinic tradition of integrated care and teamwork makes it possible to call in other specialists to meet the patient's health-care needs.

In addition to treating some of the most challenging eye problems, we provide comprehensive eye care. We have an active contact lens service and a full-service optical shop.
