Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Treatment of Children

Mayo Clinic emphasizes a collaborative approach to pediatric care. Many health care professionals work together to determine the best ways to treat each child who has non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The treatment team may include specialists from Pediatrics, Hematology, Radiation Oncology, and others as needed.

Most non-Hodgkin lymphoma in children is treated with chemotherapy. Radiation therapy is sometimes used in special circumstances.
