ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic announced today the development of Mayo Clinic Healthy Living, a new online offering for its commercial population health clients. Mayo Clinic Healthy Living will create a connected experience for simple, personalized engagements that leverage Mayo Clinic knowledge to encourage positive change in lifestyle behaviors for improving or maintaining the health and well-being of users. The new product is being featured at the Digital Health Summer Summit in San Diego by Philip Hagen, M.D., M.P.H., medical director of Mayo Clinic Healthy Living online.
Mayo Clinic Healthy Living will feature a new state-of-the-art personalized health assessment with biometric upload capability and the ability to add custom questions; a robust challenge platform for team-based and peer-to-peer competitions; data integration with mobile devices and apps; and personalized e-newsletters with custom messaging. The product will also provide solutions for lifestyle and behavior targets such as weight management, physical activity, nutrition, resiliency, stress, sleep, tobacco use and preventive services. A menu of client options includes incentive program management, analytics and reporting, and custom messaging. The product's first release is slated for October 2013. Mayo Clinic Healthy Living will be built with the health expertise of Mayo Clinic, leveraging user engagement tools from Everyday Health.
