Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine Presents Lecture on Poetry and Illness

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine invites the public to a free lecture entitled "Cultural Competence: Poetry and the Importance of Voice in Diverse Illness Experiences," presented by Harvard Medical School Professor Rafael Campo, M.D.

WHAT: "Cultural Competence: Poetry and the Importance of Voice in Diverse Illness Experiences," presented by Harvard Medical School Professor Rafael Campo, M.D., sponsored by the Jack Taylor Family Foundation of the Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine. Dr. Campo teaches and practices general internal medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is also on the faculty of the Lesley University Creative Writing MFA program.

WHERE: Judd Auditorium, subway level, Mayo Building, 200 First Street SW.

The Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine Jack Taylor Family Foundation presents this lecture in honor of Dr. Joseph Kiely.
