ROCHESTER, Minn. — The 25th annual National Cancer Survivors Day event will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012. The event is sponsored by Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society.
WHO: Cancer survivors, their families and friends.
WHAT: The celebration, whose theme is "Daily Zoo," will feature The Minnesota Zoo's Zoomobile, lunch, a program to honor cancer survivors and a special presentation by Chris Ayers, an artist, illustrator, author and cancer survivor.
WHEN: Sunday, June 3, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Zoomobile will be on display starting at 10:30 a.m., lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m., followed at 12:30 p.m. by the program and special presentation.
WHERE: Rochester International Event Center, 7333 Airport View Drive SW, Rochester.
NOTE: Admission is free for cancer survivors and two guests. Additional guests are welcome to attend for $5 per person. Reservations are required by May 29. To register, call 507-538-6001 or email.
