ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota have a long and cherished tradition of collaboration that serves the state and nation. To honor this ongoing collaboration and service, Mayo Clinic leadership will welcome University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler, Ph.D., to sign a renewal of a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions, tour Mayo Clinic, and meet with University of Minnesota students training and researchers practicing at Mayo Clinic.

WHAT: As part of the visit, Dr. Noseworthy will lead a short walking tour of Mayo Clinic for Dr. Kaler and the University of Minnesota delegation before a presentation of Mayo/University of Minnesota Partnership/Decade of Discovery research, conversation and demonstration by University of Minnesota students training at Mayo, and a tour of the Minnesota Partnership laboratory space.

Tour begins at 2 p.m.; reporters should be at Mayo Clinic no later than 1:45 p.m.
