Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center to Offer Saturday Morning Injury Clinic

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic's Sports Medicine Center will provide a Saturday morning injury clinic for middle school and high school athletes injured during Friday night or Saturday morning sports activities. The clinic will be open each Saturday from Sept. 3 to Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to noon. The last appointment is at 11:30 a.m. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 507-266-7800, starting at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday. Walk-ins also are welcome but must arrive before 11 a.m. Appointments will receive priority.

The Saturday morning injury clinic, located in Mayo Clinic's Sports Medicine Center, Charlton Building (L-C), 10 Third Ave. NW, will be staffed by a physician, physical therapist and athletic trainer. Care options will include X-rays, splinting, bracing, crutch instruction and rehabilitation exercises.
