ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic will hold a Children's Health Fair on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Rotunda at Mall of America. The event is free and open to the public.
Just in time for kids heading back to school, the health fair provides a great opportunity to learn about children's health and wellness on the topics of injury prevention, allergies, bullying and abuse, healthy eating, how your brain works, vaccinations and immunizations, and more.
Mayo Clinic representatives from 15 different pediatric specialties will lead kids and families in fun and interactive activities, and will share tips and offer family education about healthy living. New exhibits this year include playground safety, Dr. Jack the Helping Dog, and a fun fitness activity. The first 50 children to visit all 15 areas will receive a one-time pass for the Flying Dutchman Ghostly Gangplank in Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America.
