Mayo Clinic Holds Grand Opening for Radiation Oncology Treatment Center in Northfield

WHAT: Grand opening ceremony for new 13,000-square-foot radiation oncology treatment center in Northfield, Minn.

WHO: Mayo Clinic radiation oncology leaders and staff, Northfield Mayor Mary Rossing and leaders from St. Olaf College and Northfield Hospital and Clinics.

WHEN: Monday, June 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. Media tour at 11 a.m.

WHERE: 1821 North Ave., Northfield, Minn.

NOTE: The center meets the requirements of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program. It was built with energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality and stewardship of resources in mind. The facility employs 12 people.
