Mayo Announces Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinics

Monday, October 25, 2010

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Influenza vaccinations for Mayo Clinic patients have begun at Employee and Community Health locations. Patients should call their primary care provider to schedule an appointment or they may call 507-266-6146. Appointments are available weekdays and some evenings depending on location. A complete list of locations and times is listed below. Saturday appointments are available at the Mayo Family Clinic Kasson and Mayo Family Clinic Northeast.

In addition, there will be a walk-in clinic for those ages 16 and older. The walk-in clinic is open Monday through Friday, through Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mayo Building, West 5. Patients with an egg allergy or who have had a previous allergic reaction to influenza vaccine can schedule an appointment for an allergy evaluation by calling the Allergy Clinic at 507-284-9989. If it is determined that the allergic patient can safely receive a flu vaccination, they can be vaccinated at the time of the appointment.
