WHAT: This annual educational event hosted by Mayo Clinic's Women's Cancer Program will focus on current topics in cancer care, promising research and ways to manage cancer.
Keynote speaker Amit Sood, M.D., a Mayo Clinic general medicine physician and member of Mayo's Integrative Medicine team, will provide an overview from his book "Log On: Two Steps to Mindful Awareness," including stress management during difficult times. Additional sessions will focus on new cancer treatments, breast and cervical cancer screening, survivorship, caregiving, and complementary and alternative medicine therapies, such as yoga and acupressure.
