Mayo Announces Walk-in Clinic for H1N1 and Seasonal Influenza Vaccination

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic patients who are 16 or older may receive their H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccinations at the Walk-in Flu Clinic on Gonda 16. The Walk-in Clinic will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 21-23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Appointments

The H1N1 appointment line will reopen on Monday, Dec. 21. All Mayo Clinic patients over the age of six months are eligible to receive the H1N1 vaccine. Children age nine and under need two doses of H1N1 vaccine for optimal protection. Children who received their first dose before Dec. 7 are eligible for a second dose. The appointment line will stay open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., or until all appointment slots are filled. Mayo will schedule H1N1 vaccination appointments for December 28-30, 2009.
