Mayo Clinic, Mall of America and Cooks of Crocus Hill to Co-Host Cooking Demonstrations

Health entertaining options from Mayo Clinic to be showcased

WHAT: Cooks of Crocus Hill's Michael Shannon will demonstrate quick, healthy holiday entertaining selections based on Mayo Clinic recipes.

During the Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 demonstrations, Jennifer Nelson will comment on the nutritional aspects of the featured recipes. Nelson is a specialty editor for MayoClinic.com, a registered dietician, and the director of clinical dietetics at Mayo Clinic.

Recipes will be adapted from The New Mayo Clinic Cookbook and Fix It and Enjoy It — Healthy Cookbook with Nutritional Expertise from Mayo Clinic.

WHEN:

  • Saturday, Dec. 5; Demonstrations at 10 a.m., 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 12; Demonstrations at 10 a.m., 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.

  • Saturday, Dec. 19; Demonstrations at 10 a.m., 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.
