Mayo Announces New H1N1 Vaccination Clinic

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic today announced it will again take appointments for H1N1 vaccination beginning Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 a.m. The appointment line will stay open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until all appointment slots are filled. Established Mayo Clinic Primary Care Patients can call 507-266-0011 to schedule an appointment.

Based on Minnesota Department of Health priorities, eligible patients must be an established Mayo Primary Care patient at the Mayo Family Clinic Kasson, Mayo Family Clinic Northeast, Mayo Family Clinic Northwest, or at the Family Medicine, Community Pediatrics, or Primary Care Internal Medicine practices in the Baldwin Building and meet the criteria below:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children 6 months old through 4 years old
  • Children 5 years old through 18 years old who have chronic medical conditions such as chronic heart, lung, kidney, or liver disease, asthma, diabetes or HIV; weakened immune systems due to cancer or medications such as steroids; or neuromuscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy
  • Family members or others who live in the same household as children under 6 months old
  • Primary care givers for children under 6 months old
  • Children under the age of 10 who received their first H1N1 dose on or before Oct. 24. Children under 10 need two doses of H1N1 vaccine. The doses must be at least 21 days apart.
