WHO: In addition to Lazarus, the quartet includes Tommy Barbarella, keyboard; Jeff Bailey, bass; and
Craig Hara, drums. Lazarus, a trumpeter from the Minnesota Orchestra, made his solo debut as a 19-year
old at Carnegie Hall in New York City while completing studies at The Juilliard School. His most recent
recording, "Solo Settings," contains original music performed with other members of the Minnesota
Orchestra.
WHEN: Monday, Oct. 20, from 12:10 to 1 p.m.
WHERE: Barbara Woodward Lips Atrium, subway level, Rochester Methodist Hospital, Charlton Building,
10 Third Ave. N.W.
WHAT: This event is free and open to all. No tickets are required. For the past 10 years, the series has
brought quality performers to Rochester to add to the healing environment of Mayo Clinic. The series is
currently funded by Rosemary Willson in memory of her husband, Meredith Willson, who wrote the
Broadway musical "The Music Man." Previously, Harmony for Mayo was funded by Mr. and Mrs. Tomas
Furth of Caracas, Venezuela, and New York City. The weekly performances are presented in cooperation
with Choral Arts Ensemble of Rochester.
