Mayo Clinic to Host Comprehensive Symposium for Patients with Blood Cancers

First event of its kind, with internationally renowned speakers, in Chicago

What: Living with a Blood Cancer

Patients who are fighting a cancer of the blood or who have been cured, along with their family and friends, can have their questions answered at this event. Topics include disease-specific breakout sessions as well as crucial but often overlooked issues such as advocacy, alternative therapies, finances, intimacy and legal concerns.

When: Friday, May 2 - Sunday, May 4, 2008. Reporters are invited to attend any portion or the entire symposium. Please arrange attendance with Mayo Clinic Press Office.
