Who: Media are invited to the following sessions:

9:30 a.m., March 25: Keynote address by Mark Chassin, M.D, the new president of The Joint Commission. He is a board-certified internist. His background includes service to the federal government and many years of health services and health policy research. Dr. Chassin received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University and a master's degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He also holds a master's degree in public health from the University of California at Los Angeles.

10:30 a.m., March 25: Keynote address by Anthony Suchman, M.D, and Penny Williamson, Doctor of Science, of Relationship Centered Health Care. Drs. Suchman and Williamson work with clinicians, administrators and board members in health systems across the United States and internationally to advance the practice of relationship-centered care. They coach people to enhance their effectiveness and build sustainable capacities in collaborative learning and relationship-centered practices.

9:15 a.m., March 26: Leadership Remarks on Safety and Quality. George Bartley, M.D., Mayo Clinic Jacksonville CEO; Glenn Forbes, M.D., Mayo Clinic Rochester CEO; and Peter Carryer, M.D., Mayo Health System CEO, will share their perspectives on safety and quality initiatives from around Mayo Clinic.

10:45 a.m., March 26: Keynote address by David Pryor, M.D., chief medical officer for Ascension Health and consulting associate professor of medicine at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. Previously, Dr. Pryor was senior vice president and chief information officer for Allina Health System in Minneapolis and was president of the New England Medical Center Hospitals in Boston. He was listed as one of the 100 Most Powerful Persons in Healthcare in 2002 and 2005, and one of the 50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in 2005 and 2006 in Modern Healthcare.
