MEDIA ADVISORY Mayo Clinic Rochester to break ground for Opus Imaging Research Building
WHAT: Mayo Clinic will break ground for a new building to house advanced imaging research. Mayo received a gift of $7 million from The Opus Group to support construction of the facility. The Opus Group is a national, privately held commercial real estate development and management company based in suburban Minneapolis.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 22, 11 to 11:30 a.m. program and official groundbreaking. Interviews with Mayo leaders and with benefactors Mark and Gerald Rauenhorst from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
WHERE: The event will be held on the construction site at Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue S.W., Rochester, Minn.; media escorts will be at the entrance of the reception tent at the site.
