SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Mayo Clinic and First Health Group Corp. have signed an agreement enabling First Health's clients to utilize Mayo Clinic and Mayo Health System.
"We look forward to serving First Health members with access to our wide range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities," says Jasper Daube, M.D., medical director of the Department of Managed Care at Mayo Clinic. "First Health members with complex medical problems will have access to experts in every area of medicine and surgery at all three Mayo Clinic locations. We are pleased that patients across the country will have access to all of our Mayo Clinic locations."
Mayo Clinic has group practice sites in Jacksonville, Fla.; Rochester, Minn.; and Scottsdale, Ariz. Mayo's mission is to meet patients' needs through integrated clinical practice, education and research.
Mayo Health System is comprised of clinics and hospitals, affiliated with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, that serve the local health care needs of more than 60 communities in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
