SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., and PacifiCare have signed a long-term Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) agreement. The two-year contract grants PacifiCare PPO members in-network access to healthcare services at all Mayo Clinic facilities in Arizona.
"We are pleased to provide access to our diagnostic and treatment capabilities in almost every medical specialty to members of PacifiCare PPO," said Doug Peterson, M.D., medical director, Contracting and Payor Relations, Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. "PacifiCare has PPO members in eight western states (including Arizona) who will now have access to physicians and services at our facility."
