House Calls are Available from MayoClinic.com

Monday, September 23, 2002

Now you don't have to search the Internet for health information. It can come to you.

Housecall, a service of MayoClinic.com, will send you its latest headlines and special services to help you take charge of your health. Subscribers to Housecall will receive a weekly e-mail that connects them to advice and expertise from Mayo Clinic specialists featured on MayoClinic.com. Subscriptions are free-of-charge.

To take advantage of the service, simply go to the home page of MayoClinic.com and sign up.

Besides Housecall, another service is available if you'd like to receive notification about specific health topics. This service lets you create a personal home page containing new content related to your specific health interests. This service also is available on the home page of MayoClinic.com. To set up this customization, simply list the topics about which you wish to receive notification. When you visit MayoClinic.com, you'll see a listing of new articles pertaining to your interests.
