Treatment of Children

At Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, doctors trained in neurology, ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain medicine, urology, gastroenterology and laboratory medicine evaluate and treat children who have NMO. The treatment options for children are the same as for adults, with dose adjustments made for younger patients.
