Speech-Language Pathology in Arizona

The Division of Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Neurology specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of swallowing, speech, voice, cognitive-linguistic and language disorders.

Patients receive specialized treatment in a multidisciplinary team approach individualized to each patient's unique needs.

Diagnostic procedures include videofluoroscopic swallow study, videostroboscopy, and standardized speech, cognitive-linguistic, and language testing. Other services provided include implementation of treatment activities that combine remediation along with compensation to achieve the highest level of functional independence possible.
