Neurology in Minnesota

Spine Interest Group

Conditions affecting the spine can include pain affecting the spine and limbs, damage to nerve roots which supply the limbs with innervation, and damage to the spinal cord.

Members of the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology frequently see patients with conditions of the spine. We work closely with colleagues in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Department of Neurologic Surgery, and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery to evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic spine problems. In addition, four members of the Department of Neurology work in the Mayo Clinic Spine Center.
