Neurologists at Mayo Clinic in Florida provide advanced diagnostic and treatment services in all aspects of neurologic medicine. They work closely with Mayo neurosurgeons in many areas, including epilepsy and movement disorders, to determine whether patients are candidates for surgery to manage their disease. The department's Epilepsy Program offers an inpatient unit with 24-hour intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring for patients with seizure disorders.
Mayo's state-designated Memory Disorder Clinic offers a comprehensive program for evaluating memory disorders.

The Movement Disorders Program is internationally recognized in the surgical treatment of Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. Neurologists who have been fellowship-trained in movement disorders work with neurosurgeons experienced in stereotactic surgery and with specially trained nursing and paramedical staff to provide comprehensive evaluations and the latest medical and surgical treatments. Access to new therapies is available through clinical research trials.
