Movement Disorders Program

The Movement Disorders Program at Mayo Clinic in Florida provides advanced evaluation and treatment for various movement disorders. The program is internationally recognized in the surgical treatment of Parkinson's disease and essential tremor.

Neurologists who have been fellowship-trained in movement disorders work with neurosurgeons experienced in stereotactic surgery and with specially trained nursing and paramedical staff to provide comprehensive evaluations and the latest medical and surgical treatments. Access to new therapies is available through clinical research trials.

Specifically, the program offers:

• Evaluation and treatment of all movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor and dystonia (including torticollis).
