Mayo Clinic is committed to encouraging and promoting research to develop new and better treatments. Mayo Clinic also recognizes that, as advances in medicine are being made, it's important to share the knowledge with all members of the community. To ensure there is diversity and minority representation in ongoing research, Mayo Clinic has launched a Community Research Advisory Board.
The board includes Mayo Clinic personnel, community physicians, business leaders, community leaders, laypersons, civic and religious leaders and faculty and administrators from local academic institutions.
For more information about the board or becoming a member, contact Garik Nicholson at 904-953-0977 or email nicholson.garik@mayo.edu.
