The patient library provides books, magazines, newspapers, videos, audiobooks, music, tape players, fax and copy equipment. The library staff will assist you in finding health information in print or electronic format. The library service is available to patients at no charge.

Computer Access

• Six computers with Internet and e-mail access are available for patients hospitalized or receiving treatment at Methodist Hospital and their family members.
• Personal laptop computers can be used with a dial-up connection. There are five phone lines available for use.
• A pilot program providing wireless Internet access for patients in the libraries will be implemented in the near future.
• There is 45 minute time limit if people are waiting.
• Printing is free for health-related material. A 10 cent fee is charged per page for print jobs with excessive pages.
