Mayo Clinic, Rochester Methodist Hospital and Saint Marys Hospital form an integrated medical center. Mayo Clinic patients who need hospitalization are cared for in one of the two Mayo Clinic hospitals in Rochester. The hospitals serve only Mayo Clinic patients and are staffed exclusively by Mayo Clinic doctors. A single administrative team manages both hospitals to most efficiently serve patients' needs.

Rochester Methodist Hospital, located in the heart of Mayo Clinic's downtown campus, provides a broad range of services in most medical specialties.

Services

Among treatment areas unique to the hospital are:

• Transplant programs for liver, kidney, pancreas and blood and bone marrow


Intraoperative radiation treatment

• Obstetrics and Gynecology, including perinatal center for care of high-risk pregnancies
• Women's Cancer Program
• Intraoperative radiation surgical suite
• Special unit for treating psoriasis and other dermatological problems

Outpatient services housed on the hospital campus include:

• Gonda Vascular Center
• Nicotine Dependence Center
• Radiation Oncology
• Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic
• Colonoscopy Unit
• Vestibular Rehabilitation Unit

Information Desks

Four Information Desks are located in the Eisenberg and Charlton lobby and subway levels. They are staffed by volunteers who can provide directions and maps, answer questions and arrange for wheelchairs and patient escorts.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
