Melanoma

Treatment in Minnesota

Doctors at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota care for more than 3,000 patients with melanoma annually. The melanoma treatment and diagnostic options described in these pages are available in Minnesota. Mayo patients have access to the latest experimental treatments offered in clinical trials. Genetic testing and counseling also is available for patients with familial (inherited) melanoma.

Melanoma is treated by specialists in Dermatology, Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Ophthalmology. For late-stage melanoma, patients may receive consultations with specialists from Head and Neck Surgery, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery or other areas, as needed.

For appointments or more information, call the Central Appointment Office at 507-538-3270 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday or complete an online appointment request form.
