Neurotization of the gracilis

Motor neurotization of the gracilis muscle relies on the fifth and sixth intercostal motor nerves; triceps neurotization uses the third and fourth intercostal; sensory neurotization uses intercostal sensory nerves three through six.

To conduct motor neurotization of the gracilis muscle, the fifth and sixth intercostal motor nerves are used. For triceps neurotization, the third and fourth intercostal motor nerves are used. For sensory neurotization, the lateral cord of the median nerve is used through intercostal sensory nerves three through six.
